According the State Information Center and National Development and Reform Commission of China Central government, the Institute officially opened its doors.
Several authorities of China’s central government were invited to the event, supporting the International Innovation Hub project and signing some agreements of cooperation.
The speakers were emphasising the need of attract Industrial Design from foreign countries and give them an environment were they might hone their skills. As one of the leading countries in terms of production, China is now starting a healthy competition of talent attractions steadily holding the first position, and must move fast to keep this leadership.
During the event, the first cities intending to be part of the International Innovation Hub program were also visited. Hangzhou (Zhejiang province), Hefei (Anhui province) and Nanjing (Jiangsu province) will be visited from April 10th to April 15th and the propositions will be audited.
The target of the Institute is to open over 10 hubs in the next 2 years.
